CEST is Present in Largest Event on Production Engineering in Brazil

The XXXVII ENEGEP, the largest event on Production Engineering in Brazil occurred from October 10th to 13th in the city of Joinville, Santa Catarina. About 1500 people participated in the event.

It gathered students, researchers, academic professors and professionals from different Brazilian states, which presented works in the form of oral presentations and poster sessions, as well as national and international keynote speeches. This year, CEST was present with two studies from its collaborators and researchers at USP, Professor Clovis Alvarenga-Netto, with the work “Servitization and Urban Mobility: a bibliometric study” and Eduardo Bertassi, with the work “Design Thinking application for the elaboration of software aiming better academic writing”.

According to Alvarenga-Netto, the event addressed and focused the perspectives for Industry 4.0 on Brazil, addictive manufacturing and other advances approaches in production, themes that have been projected as promising both for the industry as for university researching, integrating key concepts and techniques for Computing Engineering with aspects of its adoption and implementation in Production Engineering, aiming to raise productivity and generate knowledge.
